A number of continuous-action radioluminescent radiation sources for monitoring the flux variations of stellar simulators have been tested. The temperature dependences of radiation sources on the basis of ZnS-Cu, activated by Sr-90; ZnS-Ag, activated by C-14; and ZnS-Cu, activated by Ra-226 were examined. The time instabilities of the same sources along with that of ZnS-Cu, activated by C-14 were also tested. It was shown that ZnS-Cu with Sr-90 and C-14 activators are the most suitable as monitors of simulator stability.
