SPICAM is a dual ultraviolet-infrared channel currently onboard the ESA Mars Express mission. Since december 2003, SPICAM has continuously operated, supplying three Mars years of data on the atmosphere and the surface. This presentation will provide an overview of the results collected so far, with an emphasis on the following topics: -climatology of CO2 density between 60 and 120 km -climatology of water vapor profiles inferred from infrared solar occultation with implications on the saturation state of the Martian atmosphere -climatology of ozone profiles with the discovery of a previously unidentified mechanism for the formation of ozone -sensitive search in the UV of SO2 -recent Phobos observations with implications on the surface composition This dataset offers the opportunity to study in greater details the interannual stability of the processes driving the Martian climate. This work is funded by CNRS and the French space agency CNES.
