The main physical phenomena which occur on accretion disks, are discussed. A numerical simulation of a three dimensional accretion disk model around a white dwarf in a binary system composed of two equal mass stars is developed. The smoothed particle hydrodynamics interpolation method is adopted to solve the magnetohydrodynamic equations in the Lagrangian formalism.
