Decade variations in the three components of the Earth rotation and low-degree geomagnetic Gauss coefficients are examined. Variations with a time scale of 20-30 years are confirmed in both the Earth rotation and the magnetic axial dipole moment. The second degree tesseral Gauss coefficients also appear to have a variation with the same time scale. The components are characterized by high ellipticity of the g-h path in the direction of 34 deg W. They appear to have phase change at around 1940. Considering the phase change, paths of the components and the mean pole have great similarity.
