Cosmos-1809 radio-sounding data on a specific type of ionospheric
irregularity (i.e., 'walls') are analyzed. Conclusions are drawn as to
the geometrical dimensions and internal structure of these
irregularities. The indicatrix of radio-wave backscattering by plasma
elements forming these 'walls' is evaluated.
