Results of numerical experiments on the simulation of the thermal regime inside equatorial ionospheric bubbles are presented. It is shown that the intrabubble thermal regime depends on the degree of depression of the plasma electron density. For bubbles with a sharp depression, the ion temperature can substantially exceed the electron temperature, amounting to 10,000 K and higher.
