Thomas-Fermi-Hartree-Fock wave functions have been calculated for nl-terms of nitrogen and oxygen (n less than or equal to 10 and l less than or equal to 3) and employed to calculate electric dipole oscillator strengths for all allowed transitions in the 2s2 2p2 (3P, 1D, 1S) nl configurations of nitrogen and the 2s2 2p3 (4S, 2D, 2P) configurations of oxygen.
