We present the results from a complete survey of 294 nearby (z<0.09) Abell clusters from the ROSAT All-Sky-Survey. The sample includes all Abell clusters with z<0.09, avoiding regions of high galactic absorption. This same sample has been studied extensively in both the optical and radio. We present the X-ray luminosity function, detection statistics, correlations with cluster type, richness, statistics on cooling flow candidates, and preliminary correlations with the radio observations. This large, statistically complete, optically selected sample will serve as a very important low-redshift baseline for evolutionary studies of the X-ray properties of rich clusters of galaxies.
