The X-ray spectrum of the quiet sun in the energy range 2.3 - 6.9 keV
was observed from an Aerobee rocket using an uncollimated graphite
crystal spectrometer. These results and spatial measurements made with
an onboard modulation collimator are analyzed using solar models.
