Extragalactic Diffuse Emission And Surveys

We present preliminary results from two Chandra surveys: a) an ACIS-I
survey (75 ksec) of the William Herschel Deep Field. Deep optical
imaging down to B<28 is available for this field. b) a shallow (10
fields with exposure 10 ksec each) survey with ACIS-S around narrow line
galaxies detected by ROSAT.
