Profiles of relatively unblended lines on a short wavelength region high dispersion spectrum, were measured. Both line absorption and line emission are seen. The former is stellar and not interstellar. The profiles were classified, and their regions of formation are considered. The C 4 resonance blend can be understood as consisting of emission components having a similar profile to that of the He 2 1640 A, and black absorption lines. The form of the He 2 1640 A profile suggests moreover the existence of an outer excretion disk, in addition to the well-known accretion disk.
