Echelle spectra of the C2 (0-0) band in the coma of comet P/Halley were obtained 1986 April 07 with the 1.8-m telescope at Mount Stromlo Observatory. The C2 (0-0) Swan band in the 5130 to 5138 Å region are well resolved and a search for 12C13C (0-0) rotational lines (P- and R-branch triplets) was carried out. These observations and an identification of 12C13C lines is discussed.
