The structure of Sculptor is determined from counts of over 22,000 stars on prints made from a CTIO 4-m plate. The ellipticities of the isophotes of constant density vary from 0.0 at the center to about 0.3 for r in the range 15-25 arcmin. The lack of a measured value of the foreground stellar density does not make it possible to obtain a definitive tidal radius, but a lower limit of rt = 75 arcmin is indicated. Scuptor is much bigger than previously believed.
