Monochromatic electronographic data for NGC 7027 at nine different wavelengths are presented. High-resolution spectrometric data for the forbidden O III 5007-A line are also presented. On the basis of these data and existing radio data, a model for the H II region of NGC 7027 is specified, and it is proposed that the long-wave infrared excess and extended optical halo originate in a reflection nebula surrounding the H II region. A central star effective temperature greater than 200,000 K is deduced.
