The radio galaxy DA 344 has been mapped at 1.67 GHz using a five-telescope intercontinental VLBI array. The structure consists of two well separated, nearly equal simple lobes of approximately 10 milliarcsec in size, separated by 55 milliarcsec. This morphology is very similar to several previous mapped compact objects such as CTD 93 and 3C 395, and evidently results from similar emission processes.
