The present survey of current Mars climate change modeling efforts gives attention to early-Mars greenhouse gas atmosphere models, episodic ocean-formation periods, and mechanisms for quasi-periodic climate change. It is noted that state-of-the-art orbital models predict significant variations in the eccentricity, precession, and obliquity of Mars, all of which have significant impacts on planetary climate.
