He2-10 is a relatively nearby blue compact dwarf galaxy with a strong
starburst in the central region. It is, therefore, a good candidate to
investigate star formation in a low mass galaxy. Such a study has been
undertaken by means of high resolution multiwavelength observations and
corresponding theoretical investigations and modelling.
