Scientific paper

In the present paper, the radiation transfer in an optically thick two-layer atmosphere is analyzed, and an approximate method of accounting for an atmosphere of multilayered structure is developed on the basis of asymptotic formulas of radiation transfer theory. Measurements obtained by Venera 9 and 10 are used to select an optical model of the Venusian atmosphere and to calculate the spectral radiant flux in the atmosphere.
