If a massive Dirac neutrino has magnetic μv=ƒ;2v(0)μB and/ oreelectric dv=g2v dipole moments, where μB= eh/2mec is the Bohr magneton, it would take part in electromagnetic interactions. We investigate the electromagnetic production mechanism of neutrino pairs in processes which are relevant for the neutrino luminosity of stars. We also calculate the stellar energy loss rates due to these processes and compare them with those due to the weak production mechanism.
