An ocean tide loading model is developed for estimating the response of
a realistic earth to ocean tide loading. The model allows the earth with
a solid inner core and fluid outer core to be self-gravitating,
compressible, layered, anisotropic, and rotating. The model was tested
against accurately determined M2 gravity tide residuals.
