The morphological statistics and analysis of the sunspot groups with abnormal magnetic structures occurred during the 20th solar cycle are described in this paper. 243 groups with abnormal magnetic structures and fast variations have been investigated. The result shows that a good relationship exists between the groups and the relevant proton flares. Discussion of the cause of the abnormal magnetic structures and the fast morphological variations in the groups is given.
