The cosmic ray composition monitor on the board of the Chinese Satellite, Fengyun-1(B), launched in September 1990, detected geomagnetically trapped particles for as long as more than 100 days. Both stationary and solar proton perturbed fluxes of the geomagnetically trapped protons have been recorded. This paper reports the results of 4 - 23 MeV protons obtained from 19th to 24th November 1990, a relatively quiet period of the geomagnetic field. The perpendicular flux distribution of the protons in the L-B space are obtained and studied. This paper also presents the perpendicular flux distributions of protons on a particular geographical meridian plane (100°E).
