Project GRAND is an extensive air shower array utilizing proportional wire chambers to directly measure the angles of the secondary electrons at ground level. The array will have 64 stations arranged in 8 rows and 8 columns on a level field 100 m × 100 m. Each station consists of four proportional wire chambers (PWC). Each PWC is 1.25 square meters in area with orthogonal x and y planes.
