Scientific paper

Clayton and Jin have proposed that 26Al in the early solar system was
made by oxygen-rich cosmic rays through the 12C(16O,x)26Alg.s. reaction.
To test their proposal we have measured the yield of 26Alg.s. from this
reaction using the activation method.
