Results of the validation of a two-dimensional model of the plasmasphere with respect to the prediction of F-layer parameters are presented. It is shown that this global model makes it possible to reproduce the main parameters of the F-layer at middle and low latitudes in quiet conditions of heightened solar activity with an accuracy close to those given by regional models.
