Solar Radio Radiation: Classification
Scientific paper
Fluctuations of the microwave radio emission of active regions, floccules, sections of the quiet atmosphere of the Sun, and a coronal hole are investigated. It has been established that the investigated types of sources differ in the degree of concentration of the energy of fluctuations in the long-period part of their power spectrum. The dynamics of the integrated and spectral characteristics of the fluctuations with the development of a powerful active region has been revealed, which indicates the possibility of using numerical series of these characteristics in recognition schemes in connection with the prediction of solar activity.
