The polarized internal radiation field of a sunlit planetary atmosphere consisting of several homogeneous layers is considered. An algorithm based on the work of De Haan et al. (1987) is presented for the computation of radiation emerging from and travelling in a multilayered atmosphere. Numerical results are presented for a homogeneous atmosphere containing Venus cloud particles and bounded by a Lambertian ground-surface.
