Mkn110 was observed three times by the Narrow Field Instruments onboard BeppoSAX. The broad band, 0.1-100 keV data, acquired 5 and 6 months apart, show marked spectral variations, anti-correlated with flux changes: the intrinsic power law continuum flattens as the source weakens. Mkn 100 is also known to vary in the optical band, both in the continuum and the intensity and width of the broad emission line. In analogy with the microquasar GRS 1915+105, we propose that the optical-to-X-ray spectral variations observed in this source are related to disk instabilities that develop at the border between the radiation pressure and the gas pressure dominated regions of an optically thick, geometrically thin, accretion disk. In this contribution we present our analysis and results.
