Absorption cross sections for the near UV spectra of CS2 are reported. The data were obtained at a temperature of 300 K and a spectral resolution of 0.06 nm, over the wavelength range 271-374 nm for CS2 and 228-339 nm for SO2. The results are in general in good agreement with previous measurements, but cover a wider range of wavelengths and/or are of higher precision than past results.
