The DPP(SC) pulsation (a type of decreasing-period pulsation) is observed during sudden storm commencements with a preliminary reverse pulse (SCC/asterisk/ events). The main morphological features of such pulsations are presented, and satellite observations of DPP(SC) pulsations are discussed. It is concluded that a cyclotron-excitation mechanism is responsible for the generation of such pulsations.
