The present paper deals with measurements of the earth's thermal radio
emission from space during September 1968 (Cosmos 243) and December 1972
through December 1973 (Nimbus 5). Measurements obtained at wavelengths
of 0.8, 1.35, 3.4, and 8.5 cm are plotted and discussed
