The semi-diurnal lunar perturbation of the critical frequency of the F2-layer has been determined for a number of low latitude stations from data collected during the IGY-IGC and IQSY periods. It is shown that the phase of the perturbation changes with height at a rate of 2-4 hr/100 km during solar maximum and 5-6 hr/100 km during solar minimum in the height range 250-500 km.
