The Christa McAuliffe Planetarium (Concord, NH) hosts 68,000 visitors per year, providing a bridge between space research and the general public, with target audiences from pre-school age to adult. The Planetarium also provides teacher workshops and has recently become New Hampshire's NASA Education Resource Center. It plays a key role in preparing state teachers to meet sections of the State of New Hampshire's Science Curriculum Framework (K-12) that are focused on the Sun and solar system. Over the past two years, the Planetarium has been designing and producing a new planetarium show entitled "Living with a Star". The show is on the nature of the Sun, the Sun's affect on the Earth and the other planets, and how scientists gather information on space. Additional expertise for the show is provided by astronomers and space physicists from the University of New Hampshire and NASA. The show highlights NASA missions such as SOHO, ACE, and STEREO and space research at UNH. In this poster, we present how the Planetarium and UNH partnership translates our new discoveries on the Sun from NASA's ISTP and STP programs into an exciting and entertaining learning experience for the public. Partial funding for the show's production is provided through NASA grants, in particular the New Hampshire Space Grant Consortium (UNH directorship, CMP affiliation), the Solar Terrestrial Probes (STP) Education and Outreach (STEREO), and the Advanced Composition Explorer (ACE). Solar images are provided in part by the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) element of the International Solar Terrestrial Physics (ISTP) program.
