A period study of the eclipsing binary UV Leonis based on the extensive series of published minimum times indicates a periodic O-C variation for the system. The variation can be attributed to the light-time effect due to a third body with a period of 71.73±0.90 years in the system. The analysis yields a light-time semi-amplitude of 0.006±0.0012 day and an orbital eccentricity of 0.30±0.08. Adopting the total mass of UV Leo, the mass of the third body assumed in a co-planar orbit with the binary is M3=0.096±0.038 M&sun; and the semi-major axis of its orbit is a3 =26.40 ±1.53 AU.
