The presence of meteoritic K-41 anomalies (which can form as the result of Ca-41 decay) and thus the existence of Ca-41 in the early solar nebula was suggested by Clayton (1975). However, analyses of isotope data in various meteoritic rocks have so far detected K-41 anomalies only in pyroxenes from high-melting inclusions of the Allende chondrite. It is suggested that the pyroxenes, gibbonite, and perovskite from the high-melting inclusions of carbonaceous chondrides as well as the oldhamite from enstatic chondrites are most likely to yield K-41 anomalies and therefore should be searched for the presence of K-41.
