An investigation of perturbations of the interplanetary medium and geomagnetic activity after series of three solar flares of importance 2 and higher from a single solar active region is presented. It is shown that these perturbations depend on the following parameters: the orientation of the magnetic axis of the bipolar sunspot group of the active region in which the flares occurred; the time interval between the first and second flares of the series; and the intensity of the flares. Conditions for the occurrence of the highest degree of perturbation are indicated.
