It is noted that the possibility exists for removing the effects of seeing on the phase spectra from simultaneous observations of velocity and intensity fluctuations in different photospheric and chromospheric spectral lines, since seeing events in simultaneous data sets appear at the same time with a preferred correlation. Image motion produces the preferential contamination of the data at those solar disk locations where solar signal spatial gradients are large. At periods larger than 40 sec, the corrected power spectra and phase spectra generally show signals with significant coherence.
