An analysis is made of the behavior of the layer heights of the diffuse radio aurora observed in the direction of electron drift in the ionosphere. The analysis is based on circular radar observations of auroral scattering at 88 MHz at an antarctic station. It is shown that the heights of the diffuse radio aurora, when observed along the electrojets, are systematically greater in the region of the eastern electrojet than in the region of the western one.
