Interest in the half-life of ^44Ti has heightened since the recent detection of the characteristic 1157-keV gamma ray in the supernova remnant Cas A. Previous determinations of this half-life, using either specific activity measurement or exponential decay measurement over a period short compared to the half-life, have given conflicting results, ranging from 39 to 66 years. We report on precisely calibrated measurements of the 1157-keV gamma ray taken over a period of 20 years from a single ^44Ti source. The half-life obtained from these data will be presented.
