New experiments have been carried out in the H_2O-CO_2 system over the
0-1.7 GPa and 255-330 K ranges to constrain the CO_2
hydrates stability and CO_2 solubility. Implications for the large outer
solar system icy bodies (e.g., Ganymede) are discussed.
