A numerical method for simulating a strongly magnetized plasma was proposed. The method is based on a synthesis of the "particles in a cell' method and the "guiding center' theory. The problem of the interaction of a nonsteady-state flux of plasma with the conducting model of the moon is solved numerically. Results are presented for the calculations of the formation of the plasma wake of the moon and the interaction with the moon with weak discontinuities of the solar wind.
