This paper concerns the distribution of some of the commoner trace
elements with respect to the major elements in certain alkali igneous
rock series. These include the rocks of the Scottish Tertiary alkali
series, the Hawaiian alkali rocks, some of the Polynesian alkali series
and the latite series of the East Central Sierra Nevada.
