This paper deals with the distribution of some of the commoner trace elements with respect to the major elements in certain tholeiitic igneous rock series. These include series from the Hakone volcano and the adjacent area, from the Karroo dolerites, from the British Tertiary province, the Northfield sill, and the almost undifferentiated tholeiitic basalts of Hawaii and Oahu. A little data on the Satakunta dolerite hybrids is also provided.
