New results from radio continuum studies of the inner 500 pc of the Galaxy are reviewed. A linear structure extending over 200 pc of the Galactic plane has been discovered, as has a 40 pc-long radio structure near Sagittarius A which consists of a number of extremely thin filaments. Sagittarius A West itself displays a remarkable spiral-type structure.
