An overview of physics is presented, taking into account relativistic astrophysics, particle physics, nuclear physics, plasma physics, atomic and molecular physics, condensed matter physics, fluid physics, acoustics, optics, and mechanics. Attention is given to an understanding of the processes of particle physics on the basis of an interaction of the quarks, an organization of nature according to the group SU(6), the development of a small inexpensive artificial kidney, magnetohydrodynamic power generation with the aid of a superconducting magnet, the nuclear stability diagram, the predictions of an interacting boson model for the low lying quantum states of a nuclear system, a brain tumor locator, the U.S. energy problem, a simplified level scheme for atomic hydrogen, and a three-dimensional view of a human cancer cell magnified 3000 times.
