The important results of the application of fractal and chaos theory in solar physics are given. The main contents are: the revealing of the chaotic solar activity; the solar nonlinear dynamo theory; the fractal description of the solar magnetic field and the research of the self-organized criticality of the energy releasing manner in solar flares. Finally, the authors give the forecasting of such application in future.
