We present preliminary results of a first lattice calculation of the
form factors for the rare decay B → K + - . Hadronic matrix
elements are calculated on MILC lattices with 2+1 flavors of sea quarks.
We use the Asqtad action for light quarks and the Fermilab action for
the b quark.
