A study was conducted to verify the existence and solar origin of quasi-periodic components (QPCs) of the solar radio emission at centimeter wavelengths. Radio emission was received simultaneously by two radio telescopes placed about 1300 km apart. QPCs were detected with periods ranging from one minute to several hours. QPC periods are not steady for a long time. For example, QPCs with periods 1-10 min change within 2 hours. Oscillations are detected in the transition layer or in the corona, which may be due to modulation effects, natural oscillations of the corresponding solar structures, or excitation of these structures by processes in the photosphere.
