An evaluation of the effect of the magnetic field on the equilibrium nuclear parameters of the outer crust and on the threshold density of the matter with which neutrons appear as an independent component is presented. It is shown that the effect of the magnetic field on the energy of the degenerate electron gas and the energy of the nucleus should be taken into account in the calculations of nuclear composition of magnetized superdense matter.
