Data obtained during 12 solar events during the period 1972 to 1976 were studied to determine the relationship between solar magnetic fields and the propagation of solar flare protons. The protons considered in this study possessed energies of 5 to 40 MeV, and were detected in high-latitude zones of the earth's magnetosphere at 700 to 1000 km altitude. The data were used to calculate the anisotropy of the angular distribution of solar cosmic rays, and several features of the changes in intensity of these cosmic rays are discussed.
